"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you."
The heart is the place where a person's deepest feelings, core personality traits and basic spirituality reside. We speak of a "heartfelt" response as one that is honest and genuine.
Jesus reserves the highest honor possible for the "pure of heart" in the Beatitudes:"they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8). With a "listening heart" we discover God's purpose and plan for us.

We are able to grow in holiness only because God chooses to give us "a new heart and a new spirit."
This retreat will help us imitate more deeply "the Sacred Heart" of Jesus, a Heart whose greatest desire is to show us mercy. Imitating the Heart of Jesus will help foster a "change of heart" in us.
